FAR INFRARED THERAPY

 

Far Infrared (FIR) Therapy often used in conjunction with acupuncture as an adjunct therapy to enhance treatment. Once acupuncture needles are placed in the body, if Far Infrared (FIR) Therapy is called for, the Practitioner will position the Far Infrared (FIR) Therapy Lamp (as pictured) over various part of the body for the duration, or part, of the acupuncture session.

 

WHAT IS FAR INFRARED (FIR)

Far Infrared (FIR) is part of the light spectrum, and while it has no "color," it emanates a deeply penetrating, and therapeutic light that also generates a unique heat. 

Far Infrared (FIR) is uniquely beneficial for both therapeutic impact of it's light and for the impact of the heat it generates.

HEALTH BENEFITS OF FAR INFRARED (FIR)

Cardiovascular Health

  • Increases the production of nitric oxide, a vital signaling molecule key to healthy blood vessels. Nitric oxide helps relax the arteries and prevents blood from clotting and clumping in the vessels.

  • Combats free radicals to prevent oxidative stress and regulate the blood pressure.

  • Significant improvement to blood circulation, promotes increased oxygen and micronutrient uptake to injured tissues.
