COVID-19 / Disease Prevention Policies & Procedures
POLICY UPDATED: 5.12.2023

The Dept. of Health & Human Services declared the national COVID-19 pandemic officially ended as of May 11th, 2023, thus local, state and CDC health and safety guidelines for COVID prevention have shifted. SEVEN POINT WELLNESS has adjusted accordingly:

MASK POLICY CHANGES:
-
Seven Point Wellness has carefully adhered to stringent COVID / Disease prevention guidelines throughout the pandemic - and will continue to take preventative measures to keep all staff and patients comfortable and safe. However, in accordance with the May 11th declaration, we are happy to announce that our clinic is shifting to a "Mask Optional" policy as of Monday, May 15th, 2023, with the following exceptions:
A. We strongly recommend that immunocompromised patients wear masks when they enter the treatment area. The treating Practitioner will also mask upon entering the treatment room.
B. We will require masking with any patient, guest of a patient or staff member currently experiencing respiratory symptoms upon entering the building (from the parking lot) and throughout the clinic. This includes during and after treatment.
OTHER POLICY CHANGES:
-
We will also shift to a "GOWN OPTIONAL" stance, allowing street clothes on the treatment table if preferred.

-
If you choose to wear your own clothing during treatment - we recommend bringing shorts or treatment-accessible clothing, so that the Practitioner can easily access the muscles / areas of your body needed.

-
Patient gowns are still readily available to anyone who prefers them.

BEFORE ENTERING CLINIC - COLLECTIVE RESPONSIBILITY:
-
These policy changes place a certain amount of "collective responsibility" on all of us. In our clinic, we treat a wide variety of health concerns - including oncology, severely immunocompromised and pregnant patients.

-
While all patients may be vulnerable to COVID and other illness, some patients are at much higher risk of life-threatening illness if they are to be exposed.

-
We ask everyone to be mindful of this as they enter our clinical space. Your support allows us to minimize exposure-risk to all patients and staff herein - and we are deeply grateful!

AFTER ENTERING CLINIC
-
HAND HYGIENE: Upon entering the clinic, hand sanitation is available as you check into the front reception desk.
-
DOOR HANDLES: All door handles are continuously cleaned between each patient - including treatment, hallway and bathroom doors.

-
PRACTITIONERS in SCRUBS: Wearing scrubs promotes optimal hygiene in a clinical setting and our Staff and Practitioners will continue to do so.
-
PATIENT GOWNS: Comfortable patient gowns are available for each patient to use - however, are not required. Patients may also wear their own clothing if preferred.
-
PATIENT SHOE TRAYS: Directly outside of each treatment room will be a shoe tray, where you can leave your shoes while in the treatment room.
